Mike YorK + Rëverend Gonz
"...just another nightcap...do it..."
Long time friends, partners in crime and lovers of all things dark, loud and chaotic, Mike York (Garden of Delight, Sweet Ermengarde, KALT to name but a few.....) and Gonzo (Love Like Blood) have decided that it was about time they paid homage to their musical roots in the only way they know how.
To be released in November 2019 on Bandcamp (vinyl and music cassette only), the Brothers Grimm have taken it upon themselves to select some of their life-defining tracks from their youth, or what at least passes for it in their eyes, and pass it through the filter of their own musical experiences.
A four track of much loved favourites from hardcore punk, post punk, dark rock, goth - call it what you will - Mike supplies trademark guitar and bass, overlayed with Gonz's signature bass vocals, and both combine to scrape up their inner emotions and deposit them without any apology, or quarter given, on the listener's aural palette.
